• Had a group recording today which went really well!!! 

• Excited to see it all come together :)

• Neil is not coming back next semester, but going to continue with time zone work

• Talked to Natalie & Kilichand - holding a launch party on April 10th!!!!

  • Official launch of the website, speakers from cast & creative team, fun videos, website walkthroughs, YAY!!!

Charity Show Updates

• Will have more to say once she meets with Sage

• ED - comedy, uplifting, well-written, Sage wrote it in high school

  • Hoping for some rewrites, details to adapt to Zoom

  • 8 characters, mostly female

• Producers and TD will be selected over winter break

Charity Show Ideas

• Directors could be in touch with organization before pitching

  • Part of pitch can be how they’ll work with the org

  • Specific plans & ideas of collaboration

  • Wouldn’t want to lead on an outside organization if it’s not necessarily picked

    • Hesitate to reach out that early in the process

    • Wouldn't be a consistent communicator

• One producer designated to communicate with org

  • Assistant producer/co-head producer 

  • This is their specific role

  • One clear communication channel

  • Extra interpersonal bond!!!

• Projected timeline with communication w/organization

  • Requiring tangible timeline from pitch team from outset - helpful for successful communication 

• New name ideas

  • Community Engagement Show

  • Show for a Cause

  • Open up voting/competition for name ideas to membership?

• Theatre in Action Weekend/Month

  • Could be in conjunction with VAGmo, OBOB events, etc

  • Theater community based theme month

  • Let's do some research on how VAGmo is operating this year!

    • And talk to Nikita about OBOB

• Timeline - should we unveil these new ideas this year? Or wait until after?

  • We could try for this year? So we have a cohesive brand to present at splash 2.0

  • Having this narrowed down for GM #1 next semester

  • End of semester email??? To send out on the 20th??

    • Add a question at the end of busties ballot form for suggestion box

      • Gooooood way to mobilize :)

• Education component of the show

  • Based on a certain social justice era

  • In conjunction with producing - including education component in the program

  • Incorporating volunteer work or service into the show process

    • Doesn’t necessarily have to happen before the show - engagement shouldn’t stop once the show ends

    • And usually it takes a while for us to get the check to the org anyways

• Develop some sort of document to give to next Eboard

  • Phases of rebranding charity show

  • Laying out our exact ideas, what they have to work off of, etc

  • Specific items for this year vs. after we leave

• Virtual service this year?

  • Sage’s org is not looking for volunteers right now - but there are more flexible ways to help; raise awareness and funds in local community 

• Once we have these action items - working with Sage’s team will be rly pivotal
