Inspiration Project Check-Ins

Team One

  • Chris

    • Overall I thought the writing process went very smoothly despite the general craziness of things right now. Although I did take a big to finish the script because of my schedule this semester. It was a really great chance to do something creative and collaborative. I thought the inspiration project was a really good idea so props to eboard for making it happen! I also had the pleasure of working with a great creative team who did an amazing job and were very supportive. The cast and tech crew also did a fantastic job as well. In general it was a great, low stress, high reward process. So thanks!

    • Tech was fun!

    • Tech run was kinda hard to coordinate between the two teams

    • Sent out a thank you email to everyone, will be going around to collect costumes and props in the next few days to get them back to the Space

Team Two

    • SUCH a fun process

    • Great script, cast was so dedicated and hardworking

    • Some procedural stuff was definitely tough

    • Definitely needed a bit more time

    • Restored a lot of my faith in zoom theater :,)

    • So happy to see the script come alive!!!

    • Process was super fun, wished they could’ve had more time to iron things out

    • Overall loved it!

    • If we get a chance to do something like this in the future they’d love to do it again!

    • Some things to improve on:

      • Hard for some of the one person departments to handle everything

        • Nhi, Chris, etc. 

        • It was really nice to have a partner to bounce ideas off of

Inspiration Project Check-Outs

  • SO enjoyable and impressive how it turned out, nice to feel like we’re doing live theater again, proud of us for coming up with this and committing to it and pulling off such a unique cool thing :,) 

  • Might need a more specific division of power talk so everyone knows exactly what’s required of them - more info about SMs/TDs 

  • Might be better to assign people to creative team roles earlier in the semester, moving the casting process up to happen earlier
