Show Check-Ins:

F&F Weekend: Grease
- Director: Ellie
  - Rehearsals going really well.
  - Have all of Act 1 completely done.
  - Cast is incredible. A lot of talent from freshmen and they are handling it beautifully.
  - Lots of conflicts, but Act 2 will hopefully be done next week.
  - Doing a lot of character stuff in rehearsal already. Cast is very enthusiastic.
  - Have all the libretto contracts--there are just two people who need to sign them.
  - Met with Alicia-- going to send her a list of all relevant costume things.
  - Figuring out the car.
  - Figured out final set design.
- Asst Director: Lara
  - This week has been awesome. Everyone is so talented.
  - Had problems with several people dropping, but working it out.
- SM: Ariana
  - Act 1 is blocked.
  - Cast is so amazing. People are off book already.
  - Have had a few music and choreography rehearsals. "Greased Lightning" is blocked.
  - Soft off book is on Saturday. Hard off book is that following Tuesday.
  - Met with Lara to talk about the schedule for next week. Lots of conflicts, but schedule is shaping up.
  - Coordinating date for headshots.
  - Met ASMs-- they're great. Came to rehearsal yesterday. Sent in schedules.
  - Got key to the workshop.
  - Planning to meet with Alicia sometime this week.
- TD: Alicia
  - Has a crew!
  - Wood order was placed. Price was more than anticipated, but rearranged the budgets.
  - Met with Ellie to be on same page for vision.
  - Met with Tsai to go over guidelines. They approved the set design and they gave a schedule.
  - First tech meeting this morning. Department meetings are being scheduled.
- Producer: Sam
  - Snapchat is up and running. Good amount of people have signed up.
  - Wood order is placed.
  - Coordinating with Alicia for delivery on Saturday.
  - Met with 3 out of 4 assistants.
  - Should be good to meet all deadlines in the next few weeks.
  - Rearranged budget with Alicia.
  - Emailed all the heads with their budgets, so they all have them.
  - Have a shirt design and the bio form is sent out and due tonight.
  - Microphones are reserved through SPS. Should have all 16, plenty of extra were something to go wrong.
  - Had photoshoot with the four principle actors on Friday.
  - Have poster, cover photo made-- ready for approval.
  - Producer guide needs a little revamp for Family & Friends Weekend shows.
Speech and Debate
- Director: Sarah
  - Read through was great.
  - Actors are new to acting in general, but all extremely talented.
  - Holding off on singing and music scenes for now.
  - First tech meeting was amazing.
  - Scheduled the next two weeks.
  - Meeting with producers this week.
- SM: Lauren
  - Had rehearsals and they were great. Love cast.
  - Scheduled the next two weeks of rehearsal.
  - Met one of the ASMs.
  - Sending email to cast tonight with schedule.
- TD: Francis
  - Had tech meeting. Working on scheduling department meetings.
  - Has an ATD. Her name is Kendall. She's great.
  - Met with Sarah to talk about show things.
- Producers: HwaYoun and Elle
  - Met together yesterday to get basic dates. Split up responsibilities.
  - Aiming to have promotional stuff done by October 16.
  - Making plans to meet up with Sarah and Lauren to plan a promo photoshoot with the cast.
  - Sending out budget emails to all the crews soon.
The Flick
- Director: Lucy
  - Read through went very well.
  - Met with Abby about scheduling for hard/soft off book, blocking dates.
  - Met with David about tech vision. It was very productive.
  - Talked to Tori briefly; meeting with producers sometime next week.
  - Starting blocking rehearsals tomorrow.
- SM: Abby
  - Set off book dates and target dates for blocking. Very busy cast, so it could change by a day or two.
  - Got ASMs, met one of them today at tech meeting. She's great. Reaching out to the other one.
  - May need a room for Sunday nights.
  - Big conflict for one of the actors on a show night. Working it out.
- TD: David
  - Has an ATD! It's Chrissy, yay. Scheduling department meetings. Grease is first priority because of time constraints.
  - Had great chat with Lucy.
  - Need to talk to HwaYoun immediately about a set design.
  - Need to move some money in the budget around. Wants to go into Space and check out wood.
  - Got rehearsal schedule from Abby. Techies should be dropping in to rehearsals soon.
  - On track for the next few weeks.
- Producers: Angelica and Tori
  - Angelica has been out of town, but the producers are meeting this week.
  - Have some ideas for promotional material. Excited!

E-Board Check-Ins:

President: Chris
- Helped Abby with Ice Cream Social.
- Helped Abby and Caitlin with Techstravaganza.
- Had Abby reach out to Rachel about inviting the OB board to Ice Cream Social. Sent a delegation to OBicnic.
- Getting input from creative teams and board members. Grease process is going so well.
VP: Evan
- Helped out with Ice Cream Social and Techstravaganza.
- Dropped in a couple times to Grease rehearsal room. Going to make a point to drop in to other show's rehearsals as well.
- Booked Abby's room for COMBAT.
- Had consultation with someone from the Square. All set to do Tsai and ordered BUPD.
VPSP: Abby
- Ice Cream Social and Tie Dye happened. It went super well. Good turnout. Everyone had a fun time. We sold the rest of the t-shirts.
- Techstravanganza went really well. Props to actors for acting in the scene.
- COMBAT is happening this weekend. Super excited. Someone has reached out about directing and SMing. Meeting Tuesday with other groups to go through the schedule. Will be bouncing to all 3 groups during COMBAT.
- Kickball looks like it'll be happening October 7. Had meeting with Rachel about it.
- Going to post in the group about shirts.
Treasurer: Andy
- Helped Sam figure out wood order for Grease.
- Need to call SAO about the Eventbrite for Grease.
- Sent the budgets for all the shows out to the producers. Reached out to all of them.
- Started group message with all the heads to make contact direct and fairly informal.
- Gave Sam rights info that she needed for promotional material.
- Will send rights for other shows to respective producers.
- Sold out the t-shirts. Going to talk to Lucy about new Troupe merch.
Secretary: Lucy
- Made Facebook events for Techstravaganza, Ice Cream Social, and COMBAT.
- Sent out reminder email for all upcoming events. Told people to join Facebook group and many new members did.
- Updated website with full creative teams.
- Confirmed time for Opening Our Doors Festival and sent it to Ellie and Ariana.
- Attended OrgSync SAO training webinar.
- Talked to Sam about Grease promo material time frame.
- Uploaded Summer Show photos to Facebook and Flickr.
- Promoted the Grease Snapchat.
TA: Caitlin
- Made tech lists, but watching them as people drop.
- Has ATDs now for both Francis and David and they are very excited.
- Went to a Tsai meeting with Alicia as both ATD and TA. Tsai schedule is better this semester than it was for The Addams Family. No classes this semester in Tsai, so the pit doesn't need to be struck every night.
- Planned Techstravaganza. Abby was huge help. Good turnout. All the workshops happened. Will update guide for tips about that.
- Talked to Francis and David today about giving Grease priority for department meetings. Tech meetings went really well.
- Reached out to Alison about SM guide and she offered to write it.
- Talked to Chris about rental procedures.
- Went to an SAO safety training this week.
