Spring GM 3 Recap: Spring One Acts & Fall 2014 Season!

We had quite the eventful weekend this past week! Surely most of you caught the Oscars, but we have some award-winning performances and productions of our own to acknowledge!

So, we would like to begin by congratulating all those involved in this year’s enchanting TECH SHOW and of course, Charity Show 2014- Doubt: A Parable! All the hard work, talent, and fun that went into both truly paid off in hilarious Tech Show performances and a successful Charity Show that brought in over $1,630 for Prevent Child Abuse America! Thank you, membership, for all your incredible dedication and support.

Next, but certainly not least, the membership has spoken, and I have the privilege of announcing

Stage Troupe’s Fall 2014 Season:

The One Acts Festival will be April 25th & 26th in the Jacob Sleeper Auditorium.

If you are interested in tech, please email Marissa Cheifetz (mcheifet@bu.edu) with your tech experience and interests.

BUSTies

The most wonderful time of the year is coming up on May 1st and we are pleased to announce our

HOSTS for the event: Eli Brenna and Kyle Tague!

More event details to come!

Spring GM 4- Eboard Voting

Our next meeting, April 6 at 7pm in the Student Theater, we will be voting on our new Executive Board! We will be accepting nominations right up until voting occurs, so if you’re interested at all and didn’t get a chance to get nominated this time, don’t worry, there is still plenty of time!

Those nominated are definitely encouraged to come and talk to our current Eboard! There’s no better resource than those of us doing the jobs and we obviously love Troupe enough to talk about it forever, so don’t be shy and let’s chat!

On Stage Next…

Our first mainstage of the season- Raised in Captivity- opens the week after spring break! Join us March 20-22, 2014. Performances will be held in the Student Theater at Agganis Arena beginning at 8pm. Tickets will be sold pre-sale on Eventbrite and at the door for $5 with membership card and $6 general admission. We can’t wait to start off our mainstage season with this great production!  RSVP through the Facebook Event!

That’s all for now Troupies, have a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break. Travel safely, and we’ll see you in a week!
