Show Check-Ins
First Mates (Summer Show)
Natalie (Co-Director):
have an AP who was wonderful last week
brought back Mr. Chris Dew to play the role of Vic (rip mr mastella)
audience this week was around 12-15 audience members, so not a huge turnout but truly not bad for summer show!
elected to do one show every Tuesday at 7:30pm
may consider doing a Friday show at some point this month but that’s still up in the air, and would need to be discussed among the creative team, cast, and crew
Leela (Co-Director):
may miss tech rehearsal Monday
had check-in with Taylor (producing team) about updating the playbill with her info since she wasn't in it last week
not sure about outcome yet
wants to schedule a company bonding event next week
goal: to keep last week light and fun for everyone:)
Stella (SM):
not much
running lines with Chris before rehearsal on Monday
Katie (TD):
tech has been going well!
wants to reconnect with Rayna for the key transfer just to make sure none of the tech for the show breaks and fix it if it does
perhaps at rehearsal tomorrow night or the show Tuesday.
most likely won’t be present for the September shows
may talk to the techies and see if anyone would be interested in taking over being the TD
Evan (Producer):
producing is going well!
welcomed Taylor to the team to help out with the in-lobby to-dos
continuing to post cast/crew/creative team spotlights on our Instagram
doesn’t seem like many first years have followed our account
let’s promote everything on our own social media accounts
busy with camp but will answer emails and texts ASAP
