    • Promoted pitches, accepted new pitches via email

    • Updated site with J&G banner, cast list, synopsis, etc

      • Excited to get some promo going on the stage troupe insta!

    • Saw Midsummer and Sweeney

    • Let shakespeare into the space for their strike

  • Katie

    • Katie did not attend the tale :( (the demon barber of fleet street)

    • Emailed with Steve about police report

    • Helped shakespeare with last minute ladder rental

    • Met with Crystal about theft

    • Helped with rentals and build week for OB

    • Helped with J&G build and move in

    • Cleaned up HH tech

    • Made a schedule for door unlocking

    • Did recruiting for one acts tech, put together tech list

    • Picked up some packages

    • Saw Midsummer

    • Coordinating getting dumpsters for space cleaning and OB move out

    • More writing for tech show woo!

  • Steve

    • Crystal from SAO responded to my Student Theatre locks change request, saying that she will discuss it with her supervisor. I’ll follow-up again as I hear more.

    • I relayed information from Katie about our lights inventory and dimmers to Eric. I’ll also be passing off the Booth’s light checker to him to return to them.

    • Does Liv have all the information she needs to file my She Kills Monsters reimbursement request? I assume a payment confirmation email was sent to stage@bu.edu (on/around 10/18/21) and can serve as a receipt.


J&G Check-ins

  • Natalie 

    • Rehearsals are going well!

    • 2 cast members unfortunately had to step down, gavin and natalie are now also actors!

      • Definitely knows her lines

    • Constantly changing the script

    • Along with new tech requests

    • Highs and lows last a while oop

      • Morale is high!

    • First tech run tomorrow!

    • Move in went really well today!

    • Sent Julia the banner and synopsis for the website

      • Will add the eventbrite link soon! Warren QR code will take you to the site page

    • Musical interlude…?

    • Question: can we require a green badge or vax card for audience members?

      • Yes, we can ask for a green badge from BU community members

      • Just have to trust parents

  • Chris

    •  Move in!

      • Went a bit slow in the beginning, kinda sent the actors home after they didn’t do much

      • Tech team KILLED IT.

    • Set looks great! Lights look great! Everything looks great!!!!!!

    • Very excited

    • Feels like we’re not having a lot of techie retention

      • Either people say they’re dropping or they’re ghosting

    • Run crew - build is willing to help!

    • Doing the best we can with a tech process that came together 3 weeks ago

    • OB used all the gaff tape :( but bringing extra in tomorrow

    • Jeff & Geoff is going amazing, I have faith we’re gonna have a great tech week, and I can’t wait for us to perform this weekend (!!!). That is all :)

  • Kelly

    •  I went to move in today and began helping Natalie take some headshots. Unfortunately I had to leave, so we didn’t get to finish them. I’ll try and see if I can come in tomorrow to do some more, though I have something that ends at 7 pm and maybe another thing that begins at 8 pm. 

    • I met with the APs over the weekend and we got our work distributed in terms of production shots, insta promotion, the bio form, and playbills. If possible, I would really appreciate an example playbill to reference, or if stage troupe has a template, I would really like to use it if possible. Another thing I’ll need is a complete list of people involved with the show and their emails so we can email them the bios form and check them off for headshots.

    • Tomorrow’s call is 6:30

    • Tuesday might be best? 8pm call, 7:30 meeting?

  • Not as much broken stuff as we thought!

  • Only 4 broken dimmers, not worth getting an electrician 

  • A few broken lights, may reach out to Eric but not at the top of her list right now
