      • Ready for GM #1 and audition week

E-Board Check Ins

  • President: Michael
    • Went through cast feedback survey responses from last semester and will be disseminating information to E-Board and the directors for this season
    • Buying all of the plays for the Play Library
    • Theater clean up day: Saturday, January 23rd at 11AM
    • GM #2 will stay on Sunday, February 14th
  • VP: Alison
    • Got room for GM on 3/20 (CAS 316) and for GM on 4/3
    • Got room for GM #1 next week - STH B19
    • Got rooms every night M-F for Dog Sees God, Menagerie and Play It Again, Sam, rehearsals, from 6PM-10PM
      • Will coordinate weekends with the directors once they have casts and SM teams.
    • Been trying to get the 8 rooms each night for One Acts auditions, but it’s been difficult
      • SAO has been a bit delayed with responses and for this reason some of our desired rooms have already been reserved – working on it
      • One of the rooms will have to be in another building to accommodate the singing auditions – has never happened before
    • Working on getting a fourth room for the Tuesday of audition week
      • Might be in STH, but not entirely sure yet
      • Put in the request around Thanksgiving and SAO still won’t let us reserve fourth room for Tuesday
      • We DO have four rooms for each of the other nights
    • Got some things from Auntie Anne’s to auction off at the TA event
      • Need to send a physical flyer to the store with details including: date, time, what it is, who it’s for, that it’s Troupe etc
  • VPSP: Danny
    • Had meetings with each E-Board member over break
    • Made a list of dates for all events this semester – will email to Karlie
    • Met with Kuiken before end of fall semester
      • Going to Capture the Flag with OB on April 17th
      • Will be going to see Broadway in Boston’s The Sound of Music with OB
    • Got a host for TA event!
      • Karlie will post on Facebook event
    • Getting prizes for TA event
    • Movie night in the Student Theater
    • Mentor Mentees
      • Sunday, January 31st at 12PM-1:30PM
    • Charity Show charity is Massachusetts Citizens for Children
  • Treasurer: Brittany
    • Producer applications due January 31st
    • Producer workshop on January 30th at 2PM in The Space
    • Finally got the stickers
    • Charity for Charity Show is super involved which is great
      • A representative will come to the talkback for the show
  • Secretary: Karlie
    • Did Meet the E-Board/Directors Mondays during break
    • Reached out to The Theater Now professors to visit classes
      • Will visit the first week of classes with Jamie
      • Created info sheet like last semester to hand out
    • Made events for First GM, Auditions, Tech Meeting and TA event
    • Sent out reminder email for First GM
    • Updated the website info for the upcoming season
    • Updated Forms and Resources page on the website per request of Jamie
    • BU Today reached out and asked if they could do a photography piece on Tech Show
      • Photographer will come to some rehearsals – need schedule from Jamie
    • Updated the Facebook cover photo and website header image to reflect past season
    • Sent out E-Board Christmas card
    • Added upcoming shows and events to the BU university wide calendar
      • Secretary should be doing this every semester
    • Posted Spring 2016 Dues Link to the blog
      • Have post for Assassins rules scheduled to go out at the start of the First GM next Sunday, 1/24
    • Bought candy for audition week!
    • Added past 2 and a half years worth of shows to Stage Troupe’s Flickr
  • TA: Jamie
    • Got tech summaries from directors – waiting on Play It Again, Sam
    • Emailed prospective TDs
      • Want to assign TD for Charity Show ASAP
      • Will assign all other TDs and SMs on 1/29
    • Uploaded tech forms with show dates on them
    • Updated TD guide
      • Included how to go to Home Depot and use Amazon with SAO's new rules
      • Integrated feedback from Fall 2015 techies
    • Got Playwrights’ Theater schedule
    • Made build schedule for the semester
    • Tech Show
      • Don’t have a rehearsal schedule yet
      • Read through will be in The Space, 1/24 at 4PM
      • Tech meeting will be in The Space on 1/24 at 3:30PM
    • Safety Training dates
      • Jan 31st at 4PM
      • February 6th at 12PM
    • Tech forms will be due day after tech meeting, Sunday, 1/31
      • And tech assignments will be out by Friday, 2/5
    • Consolidated all inventories from Space Cleaning
      • Next step is to complete it, as some things are missing
      • Will come up with a system for keeping this inventory updated
